The first game is going really well.

This one is what have you gotten that had a totally "non horsey" use that turned out to be
great at the barn - with the horse- riding etc etc. so it became "horsey"

Here goes
I got some really great large tote bags at Xmas Tree Shops. for $1.00

I cut the sides and they make super hay slings to carry flakes of hay:D;)

I use human conditioner - alberto balsam pink stuff. It smells like raspberries and everyone remarks how nice Raf smells when I've washed his tail. I don't expect he feels the same way. I don't even condition my own hair very much, but I always condition Raf's tail/mane after a wash.

My padlock cosy! Made from an insulated lunch bag to keep my padlock on the gate from freezing in winter.
Treat bag for clicker training with dogs, clipped on my saddle to carry treats for Flipo.
Car sponge to help wash a horse who hates hoses near his neck.
Rubber grip shelving on numnah to help grip on round horse.
Vinegar and mouthwash for cleaning very dirty sheaths.

Baby potties from the Pound shop make great "pole pods".

Sudocreme (baby nappy cream) contains benzyl benzoate so my two love a dollop being rubbed inside their ears to stop biting insects.

Builder's bag for heaving hay and straw where a barrow won't go.

Dustbins as feed bins

Dead deep freezer for anti-rodent storage of feed and/or rugs.

Sudocreme - I always have loads of that and it seems to have so many uses around them.
Sainsburys Basics range kitchen scissors - they live in my tack room and I use them a lot for cutting bailer twine, trimming tails and all manner of chopping..........

Its funny on the human shampoo and conditioner wiich makes a lot of sense.

Here they sell " Mane and tail" a HORSE shampoo and conditioner for People to use:rolleyes: its in a lot of stores :p
And the same stuff you buy for horses- same package even.

Head and shoulders shampoo, great for greys or grey bits.

Baby oil, to stop mud sticking to tail/feathers (and in Peds case, hocks!)

Baby wipes, to clean eyes/nostrils/sheaths (and hands!)

Jessey- here is some of the "tree" rope
Its not quite as thick as some of the marine rope but has nice weight to it and good choice of colors

That one red white and blue one right in the center is hardware/ home store rope
Its too light and airy did not work all that great - but at the time a few years ago I wanted red/white/blue for the 4th of july
and did not know about "tree" rope
I have since made a set with the "tree" rope on the left.

Wet floor signs and holiday chair back covers.
I got some wet floor signs and they will work good for different things similar to cones
but they are perfect fit for the Holiday chair back covers!..

here is the Naked sign= I can mask out the center and spray it to get rid of the writing later on.

here is a holiday chair back cover over top

It fits much better than trying to put them on a bucket
