Sharers/loaners who pays the vets bills?

Just curious about the other people with share and loan arrangements ..... which of you pays the vets bills?

It all depends on what type of loan you have, iid it was a full loan then I would expect the loanee (if there is such a word) to pay, but if its only a part loan or share, then I would expect the owner to pay.

But that is only my personal opinion.

Depends on agreement but it could be halfers as well.

my old loan said you as the loanee paid the excess of £150 and they would claim from insurance for the rest, but they paid the monthly insurance fees

I pay the insurance and would not expect my sharer to pay any vets bills, on my horses who are loaned out I pay the insurance but do expect them to pay vets bills and it states this in the loan contract
