I must confess to have left my lot as field ornaments this past year or so. With one thing and the next. my get up and go got up and went. Been a bit of a punch bag this last 18 months. So, shoes on, and start getting out and about again. I might even get the enthusiasm and finish what I started and get Tór's harness education finished

Had a bit of a shock when I got Fákur'sa passport out to get his flu jags reinforced due to the flu outbreak. How old do you think Fákur handsome blokey thing is this year?

Fákur is 28 this year, Got a new lease of life and loving it. My biggest concern is his sweet itch. He was a terrible sufferer when we got him. But it had not been treated. So we have a wardrobe of Boett rugs and a few lotions and potions to deal with any itchyness. Fingers crossed, so far not a swish of his tail. But on the first sign of a midge he'll get his rug on

We've got midges already, but I'm between a rock and a hard place - poor old Ramsey has sores on his backbone, despite having an anti rub vest, and me changing his rugs daily, to minimise rubs. I'm going to have to leave him rug free for at least a week or two, to let him heal, so am spraying and sudocreme-ing, in the hope I can get a fly rug on asap. :(
