I carefully washed my horse's legs, checking for signs of mudrash/mites.. sprayed some pig oil on, allowed him to dry for half an hour, then tacked up and went for a hack, careful to avoid mud, then came back down trail, had a jolly good gallop.. then remembered i'd washed his legs....... oh well, please remind me to ride first then wash..
