In loving memory of my dear old Thoroughbred Skip who passed away February 21st 2008 aged 32 years old. Everyone who knew him said how wonderful he was.
Skip was a horse who never had a bad bone in his body, who's heart was of pure gold, and the nature as gentle as a petal. The trust and friendship you found when you looked in his eyes was more precious and more heartwarming than anything you could possibly imagine. He taught me over the years a many great things about riding; taught me to jump and took me on many an adventorous hack across the moors. He never lost faith in our friendship and his youthfulness was a wonder to behold against his age.
Dear Skip,
We will all greatly miss you and though you don't live in the flesh, you live on in the memories of those who knew you and loved you. You have a special place in my heart.
With adoring love,
Harriet, Peter and Shelaugh
