Sadly when I came home last night my lovely tiel, Amper, was on the floor of her cage. She had fallen asleep not to wake. Her head was tucked under her wing so it was a peaceful end.
It is sad as she was a link to my late friend who gave her to me as a taming project that I kept. I had previously given Amper's dad to my friend for her aviary as it was better for him as he was not a tame bird.
Amps liked nothing better than sitting and clucking on her swing in her cage. The great outdoors of the cage was too much.
Miss her noise.
