Mid September I joined the local running club. I missed the second week as I had a stinking cold. But been going every week since. The last two weekends I've even gone out for a run at the weekends. Averaging about 4 miles a week. Ive been steadily improving and was hoping that might get to 10k before the end of the year.
The numbers have been lacking at the running club and some weeks there have only been a couple of us. Well tonight I was the only one to turn up so I made the most of it and did 6.7 miles. So I smashed my 10k goal. It wasnt fast at 1 hr, 12 minutes but I'm pleased. Just hope I don't hurt to much tomorrow.
 
I had planned to do a little run this weekend as long as my legs weren't aching but I've come down with a cold. I'm dosed up on day and night and feeling better today, but I'm going to have a little Christmas day run and then run on Thursday as normal I think.
