Notice a bump on Rusty's tummy about 5" in front of his sheath a few weeks ago - thought it was a bug bite and would go away. Still there today so asked YO/RI to take a look and see if I should call the vet.
She did take a look and then managed to keep a straight face while telling me all horses have that - from the umbilical cord :redface:
This is shameful on so many levels (one being - why didn't I notice this earlier). To make it up to Rusty for being such an idiot, I spent a good half hour doing some sheath cleaning while he munched on some lovely hay.

don't feel bad - I only noticed Rosies a few months ago and where the hair around it goes the wring way I was convinced it was a girth rub and did ride for 2 days! DOH!!!
