summer Show

:confused:Okay, I have the form for Summer Show:

This is the first show other than SJ or Dressage I've done so HELP
What do you recommend?

Ridden Classes
Ridden Novice Horse/Pony
Ridden M&M (small)
Ridden M&M (Large)

Which for a green Highland? Take into M&M class or into Novice?

Working Hunter
Mini-Novice @ 0.45m will be too small for her I think - Get better results from 2" + jumps.
Novice @ 0.6m
Intermediate - I have NO idea what height this will be???

What would you do?? Also, how many classes would you enter?

There is Working Hunter, SJ and Clear Round in addition to Ridden Classes.

Much Appreciated. xx

For a first show with a green pony I would go for the novice class. If he goes well and behaves the maybe enter the Ridden M+M large breeds. I wouldn't do the WH for his first show as it might be a bit much for him and I wouldn't do more than 2 classes either.

Sorry, wrong impression. - she's green in ways of schooling, shows etc. She hacks mainly!

She's been to a fair few shows (has done a season of Dressage comps. although we kept it very simple and Intro level). Also done one clear round with rustic fences.

She behaves immaculately. The one clear round is the only time she's jumped at show.

Thanks for advice - it's much appreciated. I think the Novice will suit her best and leave the M&M for another year.
