Tack Cleaning Business

I am starting a tack cleaning business at my boarding barn. I am wondering how much I should charge for English Bridles and Saddles, and Girths, and western saddles and bridles, and bits of both disciplines.

I was thinking something along the lines of 5 dollars for English Saddles and Bridles, 8 dollars for western saddles, 2 dollars for western bridles and 50 cents for bits.

So keep in mind I would be using my own tack cleaner supplies. And these are American dollars.​

Sounds like a good idea to me! I bet loads of riders will use the service - I work in pounds too but price sounds fair to me. Good luck

I think your prices are too cheap! 5 dollars is about £2.75 which is very cheap! I would expect to pay about £7.00 to have my saddle cleaned and £5.00 for a bridle!

Hm, thats a thought. . . I just want to over price. And I guess it kind of depends on how deep of a cleaning it is. You know?

I have a job cleening tak at my rs. and I think your prices are to cheep to! I don't know about you, but it takes me over 2 hours to cleen a bridle properly. more if it's extreemly filthy!
