the lovely dressage saddle didn't fit :(

Well I tried on the beautiful dressage saddle my manager gave me and sadly it fits neither Seb or Joey and is too narrow so now I'm going to sell it and buy one that does fit. But how much should I advertise an Albion dressage saddle in imacculate condition for?

she just said if it doesn't fit to sell it and get myself a different one which I thought was ever so sweet as I asked her if she wanted it back to sell and she said no as it would only end up staying in spare room again as she couldn't sell it

I would first check with her, as you said, the saddle did have huge sentimental value so she may want a say in where it goes etc

I would do the same, ask her first just incase!!

Don't know what price to ask for if you are going to sell it, sorry but whatever you make from it you can put towards a nice new one that fits

What style of Albion dressage saddle is it? A K2 is going for about £400-£500 second hand on ebay at the moment.

A K2 is on my wishlist because it's one of the few dressage saddles that are the right shape for Riley - expensive chap that he is.

It's not yours to sell.

You need to either:

a) give it her back (which is exactly what i'd do).
b) give her some money to 'buy' the saddle off her. £1 will do; or
c) agree with her that you'll sell the saddle on her behalf and give her some/all of the proceeds.
