Hi, a friend has offered me a lift in her trailer, towed by a Freelander (old type not Freelander 2). I’m a bit nervous though as not sure it’s up to towing both horses, they weigh around 430kg each plus there would be both of us and all our tack etc. She seems to think it’s ok and don’t want to seem like I’m doubting her but just wondered what your thoughts are?

You should be able to check the tow capacity online if you know the year and model, you only have to count the trailer and what’s in it, your tack is likely to be in the vehicle so that counts against the max gross weight not the towed weight.
