Treeless saddle pads and numnahs

Hi all.

For a treeless saddle - What numnah do you all use? Can i see photos too please? :)

Id like a sheepskin one but struggling to find anything!!

Did you want one that you can shim? @newforest will probably need to know what type of saddle it is as there are a lot of different shapes out there.

I ride in a treeless Ansur but it is the same shape as a treed saddle and I have a separate balance pad which holds the shims needed to place the saddle in the correct position, so I can use an ordinary numnah underneath. I have the fit checked every six months by a specialist fitter and she adjusts the shims according to how well muscled, or not, my horse is.

The saddle pad you get will probably depend on your saddle and your horse :) I have Christ Lammfelle pads for mine, they are lovely and shimmable. I also had a lovely one made by Engel, also sheepskin.
