im thinking of getting a treeless western saddle for izzy- i had my treed western for odin professionally fitted i keep reading that treeless western fit any horse as they mould to thier shape but surely it would still need fitting professionally wouldnt it ?

Not every treeless saddle fits every horse, they still need some fitting, but they are more likely to fit more horses than a treed saddle.
You can fit them yourself, they are fairly easy to fit with a little biyt of knowledge and some common sense.

i know its important to check pressure on shoulders spine, seat n last rib etc but still wonder if best to get the saddler out as my treed saddle from the western saddler is brilliant !

You could get a saddler out but to be honest most treed saddle fitters know next no nothing about fitting a treeless saddle.
I think the western saddler stocks some treeless saddles?
