Just got my "The Rider" newspaper the other day & just thought I'd give everyone an update on the fallen RCMP horse Brigadier from Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Here are just snipits from the article:
The culprit is being charged for dangerous operation of a vehicle causing bodily harm & failing to remain at the scene of an accident in connection with the alleged hit & run that resulted in the death. (OK so we already knew that bit)
Brigadier's breeder has generously offered to replace the gelding with another handsome chestnut Belgian/thoroughbred. He looks like him but are not from the same bloodline.
The response in the outpouring of concern has been overwhelming as they came from around the globe such as Hawaii.
Condolences can still be sent to the Mounted Unit via email mountedunit@torontopolice.on.ca
