Updating passport after microchipping

Im getting my horse microchipped soon. Do i have to send her passport off to update it with the info that she's been chipped? How much is the updating going to cost?

Its a standard defra passport.

Usually costs about £10

You should also be given some stickers with her microchip number & barcode. Afaik you can just stick this on the passport.
