This lady was referred to me by a friend at work, as she wants to buy her own horse but knows nothing about looking after horses and wants to learn.
So far so good - she's bonded well with Sham and has shown herself to be super keen on learning from the bottom up. She's been reading, watching YouTube videos and even went to a biggish tack shop with her friend to have a look at everything.
We've been given another week before the horses have to come in at night, so we're using the time for some bonding sessions, and she had a pootle round the school on Sham today, who behaved like a little star - even standing still at the block while she got on! - and she's changed a rug, so I hope she felt she'd learned something today!
And she's fitted in with the yard crowd straight away, so it's all good!
