The boy went out yesterday morning fine. Comes in on 3 legs on the night doesnt he?! Its his left hind. Pulses werent really raised. We have policted it last night and changed it this morning. He is still very lame and always resting it. However he is brighter in himself and will weight bare. Just slowly. He was looking very sorry for himself last night.
Hoping it is a bruise or possible abscess.

Fingers crossed for you that it's nothing too serious and whatever it is shows itself soon so you don't have to worry too long about what it might be! Hopefully he's looking better today

I don't know about round your way, but here the ground is rock hard and Sox has shown in the past that he's prone to bruising. I hope he looks better today, are you keeping him in to rest it on the soft? I wonder if in the future it would be better to turn him out in his boots when the ground is hard?

Lots of get well vibes on the way x

Well whether it's a bruise, an abscess, or a strain somewhere it was never going to vanish overnight. He's improving, that's the main thing.
