I'm looking for a horse in need of a retirement home! 14.2hh-15.2hh. Been there done that, safe and still ride-able for steady hacking.
The horse is for my mum who suffers from MS and needs a steady horse that won't mind her fumbling by accident.
We used to own a 30year old who was still hacking steadily until he was PTS a couple of years ago. He was an ex riding school horse about ready to be PTS but we gave him a loving comfortable life for another 5 years as a reward for his hard life. My mum is now about ready to offer a loving home to a horse ready for a gentle happy life.
