I got sooooo fed up with my kids moaning everytime we go up the yard that they're cold/wet. That I have bought them some second hand ski-ing trousers (salopettes) from ebay to wear up the yard. Not only are they padded, thermal and waterproof, but they only cost me a fiver a pair, so much cheaper than the equestrian trousers of a similar type.

I'm gonna buy myself a pair now!
