My Grandaughter was over Saturday to sleep, went back yesterday tea time.

Now as most of you know Bertie was bought for her and over the last
few months she has sat on him a couple of times with him not batting an eyelid. Now she has literally just 'sat' on him, with me beside whilst he is munching hay etc, as he is not 3 until June, same as Sioned.

Anyway, on Saturday we had groomed etc., gave them their haynets and she asked if she could sit on Bertie, which she did for about 5 minutes and then I lifted her off. 'Nanny, can I PLEEEEEAAAASSSE sit on Sioned now' she asked. Well, I thought, why not, I couldn't see that Sioned would be a problem, I had lent on her several times, even sat on her sideways by the gate, so I picked Lani up and popped her on board.

Sioned turned round and nuzzled her leg and then went back to the more
important business of eating her hay, lol. Lani sat there very quietly for
about 5 minutes and then I lifted her off to squeals of delight from her.

Thats it then, guess Sioned has been 'backed' albeit by my 6 year old
Grandaughter:D

that's fab news! she'll be totally used to the sensation by the time it comes to the hard work at 4 :)

Ahh you had no winkle talk this w-end then ?:D

Hah, let me tell you I am still 'very low profile' down at the Yard:eek:

Luckily Mike, the 'neighbour' has some sort of 'crunchy type stones' on his
pathways that always lets me know when he is around, lol, and I can do
a quick disappearing act into the tack room:eek:
