What is a good balancer

Hi. I have a fell pony who is a good doer and I am looking for a balancer for him. He has plenty of energy but just needs the mineral boost. We are thinking about top spec lite but would appreciate any opinions of what's best.

I use Top Spec Lite and have always been very happy with it. I've also heard good things about Spillers Lite and Lean, but haven't tried it since I know my metabolic native does well on the Top Spec and I don't like changing something that isn't broken only to find I've created a problem.

I’ve got my mob on spillers daily balancer, previously Jess was on their light and lean but since she’s not fat at the moment and I’ve added a 2yo I’ve swapped to their basic one and they all seem to be doing well on it.

I used either Top Spec Light, Dodson and Horrel Lamintic one depending on which htey have in stock

I use Forage Plus' Winter Balancer. It's a powder so I mix it into a little soaked Fast Fibre.

Another vote for Forage Plus, it's expensive but excellent and it lasts - you don't have to give much at all
