Whitelocks or Rose cottage stud, Berks

I rode at both of these yards in Berkshire near Bracknell in the 80's and early 90's. I remember Shrimp a strawberry roan little monster, Fury a blue roan pony who could be lovely one minute and evil the next these were both at Whitelocks then moved to Rose Cottage and then at Rose Cottage my first love Coverdale an enormous bay clydie cross who I got to hack out all summer! I also rode a grey at Whitelocks and fell off a new 5 year old(at the time!)coloured sports horse type they had.

Anyone remember these yards or any of the horses? I'd love to hear from you if you do!

I used to ride at whitelocks i rode a pony called polo and i remeber falling off him at one of there gymkana's.
I still keep my horse very near there.

Oh cool, I can't say I remember a Polo, but I didn't know all of the ponies. When did you ride there? My nan's still live in the area although I'm now a long way up the M40!

Spoke to my sister recently about these yards and she remembers a Polo at whitelocks too.
