Winter short break ideas??

Looking for a suggestion of a 1/2 night stay somewhere beggining of Feb. It's for an anniversary and I've had so many ideas so far from Warwick castle to Disneyland. But I just can't pick something!

Cheaper the better please haha

Well I thoroughly enjoyed Lincoln when I stayed with @Native Lover, its a wonderful small city, the castle wall walk was stunning and the river boat ride was great too, the old part was lovely, fantastic architecture

Cornwall!

Or if you want a city, Cardiff. I was at uni there and for someone who's not a city fan I have to say I really enjoyed it there. It's a lovely city with lots of parks/green space (I belive it's more per capita than any other UK city) plus good shopping, a bit of history (Cardiff Castle etc), and the Cardiff Bay development and Marina. It's also a good base for some countryside walks, close to Caerphilly and the hills.

Steve and I had a lovely time on the Isle of Wight. You have to go on a ferry to get there so it is officially foreign!

Warwick is nice, the castle is great fun to look around. Stratford upon Avon is lovely for a short break, used fo really enjoy that - take in a bit of theatre whilst there! Oxford is great, we stayed in some great apartments near the river. Cambridge also good for a short break.
