This weekend I'm off to Surrey to do a week's trial for a job. It's a family yard with polo ponies and a couple of eventers, great wage and accommodation deal and a luxurious 5-day week! - so I'm really hoping it works out. It would be for the polo season (until the end of September) and then I'd hopefully have enough money saved to go on one of the English-teaching internships in South America that I'm currently applying for. I have only touched a horse ONCE this year and after more than 3 months away from grooming I'm expecting the next week to be quite tough I went for a long walk the other day and I am VERY out of shape!

@Jane&Ziggy the yard is between Wonersh and Chilworth which I believe is on your local train line, if I get the job I'm going to have to come and road-test some of the yummy-looking food in your cafe
