I'm writing an article for Horse & Hound online about true horsey confessions - people who've bought another horse without telling their partner, or spent a fortune on rugs and pretended their credit card had been stolen, or bunked off work to go eventing, that sort of thing! I've bought several horses without telling my partner! Including a pair of shetlands - a weanling and a yearling - on a mad impulse while visiting Chatsworth. He's used to me now....
