Absolute Begginer to Showing. Please Help.

Oh I forgot

The only time anything other than tweed is OK is evening performance at Championships.

Then you wear navy jacket and a top hat

Sorry only just seen this.

He's a lovely boy :D

From the pics he's a bit short of mane and feather to be really succesful as a traditional this year but if you manage it you should have enough for next year.

If he were mine I would get the clippers out :D as he would be fine as a cob as well.

Where are you showing, we live in West Yorks, might see him in person if we go to the same places.

If I’m showing a black gypsy cob in hand, what would I need to wear?
Hi Maxine.

I did a bit of showing this autumn.

I was advised:

Tweed jacket
Shirt & tie
Pale yellow/cream/beige jodhs.
Smart boots - mine were brown.
Skullcap with velvet cover or velvet hat.

Showing cane.

This is a very old thread, @kitty! , so you may not receive that many replies! But tweed is tweed. I think a dark looks smart -ideally the colour of the jacket should complement your horse. I have a blue tweed jacket because my old pony was a grey.
