diy stables/ field shelter

I know a little while back..well actually a long while back if i am being honest as i haven't been on here in agessssssssssssssssssss :tongue:

there was a thread about diy stables etc, do anyone have any pics of stables/field shelters that you have made yourself, we are needing to put a new double stable up in the summer and was just wondering if any one had any pics they could share for ideas

I havnt got any pics but have been looking at them lately and eBay have loads on with lots of pics you may be able to find some inspiration on

OH has built some smashing filed shelters and stable blocks from scratch but our last two blocks were flat packs and although not quite as solid as his previous builds they are fine and worked out really good value for money

you can sometimes be lucky and find second hand ones if you are able to collect and reinstall.

I would love to have a double field shelter on skids with doors so I could tack up in the dry and occasionally stable when needed ie for shows poorly ponies... so I am watching this thread.....I might eventually get round to some

My last shelter was 4 jump poles, with a roof and 2 sides added and worked great and cost under a hundred for the materials But if I did it again I will be trying a pallet build like this

Google pallet shed for ideas....
