alot of you may know of this site, i didnt! i came across it when i was looking for maps of the local area, pop your postcode in, and then play around with it to find the area you want! it shows all byway/bridleways/tracks etc.

the pink lines are footpaths, the pink lines with diamonds in them are bridleways

bridleways are deff green,

to move the map about click on the compass, to change the size click on the round things beside the compass.

The best feature being that you then know how long each ride is Unfortunately it doesn't show bridlepaths but used in conjunction with the Ordnance Survey one, you can go anywhere

Aha! I knew we had a right to go across the golf course! Shame the only access is by a bloody footbridge over a ditch that a horse could never cross and I'm pretty sure one of them has a stye!

ETA - Ooo! And now instead of loads of road work I've found one that goes through a field with lots of sheep and a river Lovely!

i may well be wrong, but there are laws about bridleways being usable/open, best to contact the council, or try the bridleway website i posted.

I'll have a look at it and maybe suggest to the RS that they contact them about it come spring when we'll be able to hack more as it'll open up a lot more routes!
