Question in the title really!

I have peeked in here a couple of times since it went paid, but I thought this time I would try and stick over here.

I used to be a regular (as you can probably see by my post count!) and am a regular on a few other forums (some of you may recognise me :) ).

I'm guessing there are probably a lot of new members since I was last here, but hopefully some old faces too?

You would probably remember me best for Nimby & Lantern...

Well Lantern was un-fortunately put to sleep in 2011, he was a very old boy and was semi retired light hacking with a good friend of mine. He had a good end to his life but we were sad to say goodbye. Nimby is still with us, retired and cheeky as ever, he turned 30 on the 1st

I bought myself a new horse in 2010 when Lantern was slowing down, I still have him. His name is Major, he's now 8 (well 9 technically as of Jan 1st, but he was a May foal) and is an ex flat racer that I've re-schooled myself.

I then decided this year that I was missing having a project (I've had a few alongside Major that I've sold) and whilst I wasn't actively looking a little Welsh D caught my eye. I trudged off to Pembrokeshire to pick him up, buying un-seen. He was very cheap, and is very, very smart. He's 3 in April and I don't plan on him ever going anywhere. This is Oakley...

On another note it's so cringey reading back on my old threads, it's amazing how you change isn't it? Like to think I'm a tad more knowledgeable and mature now ;)

So what have you all been up to? :)

Hi!

I have been keeping up to date with your lot on hho, would have seen you on NYD to in CC but it was too wet to come and watch:tongue:

Oakley is stunning, very pretty rather than handsome. I have a 3 yo as well ( she is 3 in may)

It is good to see Nimby still going strong as well:biggrin:

I don't read my posts from last week, never mind a few years ago. You can not be more cringe worthy than me, its probably impossible:help:

Nice to have you back and I love the Welshie:smile:

Hiya :wavespin: I'm probably a newbie since you left, only joined about a month before it went subs, but hello anyway, nice to have you back!

Fab photos, betya that lovely blonde mane of Oakley's isn't so lovely and blonde at the moment if mines anything to go by lol!

Hello

I don't remember you previously but I love the look of your herd especially Oakley who is very handsome indeed.

Look forward to hearing about you & your lot :)

Nice to see you back KC. I always enjoyed reading all about your horses. Are you still driving motorcars? Do I remember that you were a very good racing driver?

Not sure when you were last here. I have a lovely horse called Ben now. A 16.1hh shire x tb who I adore. You will hear me talk lots about him on here. It's pretty much the only place with people who are willing to listen to me!

I am probably a newbie since you left too.... but lovely to see old members coming back! I especially love your Welsh D - that face!

Hello and welcome back I am probably new to you. I love your ex racer and like to hear about them me in homes doing well (can you tell I have one to)

Oakley is really lovely very sweet looking.

:wavespin: hi im defo a newbie since you've been here.Your horses are stunning! Oakley is :inlove:....
And could you please send me some jumping vibes as you look brill, Im gonna need them this year when i join RC for first time.

Thank so much everyone! Major & Oakley say thank you very much for all the compliments.

MP - That's right I did used to race, un-fortunately have done nothing for around 12 months now. I did take a job working for a race team in 2012 until earlier on this year, but now I am running a motor trade business with my father so not really any time for racing. However hope to do the odd bits next year. I broke my leg this year so was unable to do anything un-fortunately. :(

Thanks again for the warm welcome back :D
