Nails for shoeing and should I change farrier?

Hi Guys,
I haven't been on since I last posted this thats over two weeks without NR, I have been suffering with withdrawal symptoms I can tell you. Anyway anyone else got any comments to add. Its gone just over 4 weeks this time and his shoes are still on at the moment and not loose either.
Wally i take it you are refering to the amount of hoof hanging over at the back/sides of the foot. I don't like it either.
I had to go for a smaller shoe I think its a size 3, the 4's definately are too long and hang over too much. Hence I think he was catching the backs.
Anyone care to elaborate on the thrush comment made by carthorse.
