For those who remember and who are not thoroughly fed up with the Connie saga: We had our first canter on the moor today! completely relaxed and we both loved it.
I got her two years ago after, I later discovered, a strange past. Since then we have both, under the guidance of various "has been drips under pressure" to hell and back! I was even told by one worthy I should shoot her! She is highly intelligent, very sensitive and a one person horse but I love her to bits and I could not be more chuffed with her!

What a lovely post, I bet you've been beaming from ear to ear all day :D

Its such a shame that some folk in the horse world have such a negative and blinkered opinion - when the best advise they can offer is the bullet. I think these folk should stick to machinery ;)

Sorry, I don't know the saga; have to say Dizzy's right though - your experts sound like they should invest in a bicycle instead!

Glad everything's come together for you though. Sounds like Conie was lucky to find you! (And you her...)

I hope you enjoy loads more canters on the moor!
