Zilco saddle bag anyone have one?

I recently bought a zilco saddle bag and for the life of me can`t see how it works.Can anyone help me?
It has a a 2 bottle carrier one side and a pouch the other.Two straps go over the neck or behind the saddle but how do i stop it flapping up and down?There are two little d sort of things do they tie to your girth?

no never been able to use it no one has managed to work out how it works

attach straps or carbiners to the d rings and put them to the girth or d rings?
