Due to the awful weather the horses gave been in and due to my night shifts I haven' had chance to walk Sox around the yard. Until tonight. God he was full of it! Marching everywhere, rolling in a patch of mud next to the YO car ( in there praying he doesn' hit it as his hind legs went everywhere!)
Then he got a little excited. He walked off so I was at the end of the lead rope.He decides to jump about and in doing so kicks out and get me in the stomach:(
I know he was just excited and didn' mean it. But god does it hurt!

I do hope you're ok Lauren, it might be worth speaking to NHS Direct & seeing if you should get that checked out. You do need to be more careful though, that was a stupid position to get yourself in (the YO's car wasn't any too clever either!) & the result could have been far worse. Is there really no way you can walk him when you work nights? You must be going up twice a day to do him if he's in all the time so surely you could walk him at least once a day? It might make him easier to handle if he didn't get so stir crazy.

Ouch! Could you ring 111 and see what they advise that must of really hurt. Healing vibes coming your way.

Ouch, I hope you're feeling a bit better this morning. Do they not even have a little sacrifice area for you to turn out in while you are mucking out or something?

I was thinking this too! Doesn't sound very safe because they're bound to get cheesed off, even if the weather is bad.
