Coronavirus

Dominic Cummings has to go. You are telling me that he was unsafe in his large London pad, that no one could have done his shopping at Waitrose and if they both had gone into hospital no one would have cared for the brat? Unreal. Instead he drove a wife who had covid19 and a 4 year old 260 miles - stopping for petrol or loo breaks, and camps up at his dad's place (dad in 70s). Of course could have gone to her dad who owns Chillingham Castle. What about the workers at the estate agency we use, 3 of the girls are single parents, working from home with kids trying to school. If they go down with it they have nowhere to drive to to camp out. If after this people stop abiding by whatever rules are in place, well you can hardly blame them. I didn't see my friend with terminal cancer from 17th March and didn't go to her funeral on tuesday. No one has been in our house apart from health care staff looking after mum.

I just had the radio on in the tack room. They were playing the covid advert. Which said 'stay alert'. I then realised the ad goes on to say 'stay alert means', with an explanation.
If the radio advert actually has to explain what it 'means' we havent got a chance.

Its foggy misty crummy here today.
Maybe it will keep crowds away from the beaches that will be open.

The circles on the ground are one thing.
But ugh the restraunt with little plastic jigsaw pattern of barriers at the tables.

You really have to have more than a FEW
screws loose if you feel ok eating out
Like that.

So what's its supposed to mean?
My stay alert is social distancing. Nothing actually going on in my day.

Lol Huggy....
MASSACHUSETTS hair salons open today.
Rhode Island are next week.

It will be interesting to see how it all
Looks on the news.

One place had stick on face masks
So there were no cords around the ears..

Its been a bit over 2 weeks now since
Across the street was rushed to the hospital for a really bad fall and there have been a constant influx of visiting nurses therapist etc etc.
They go house to house for home visits.
The thought makes me cringe.

She was lucky she only chipped a bone in her neck and back.

I have not been over there cause I'm
not going to be soooo careful going places I only have to go and not riding because
I would not want to end up in a hospital or doctor for anythind right now.

She's been blaming the pony and I heard
Yesterday she's selling him hes
UNTRUSTWORTHY.

Its not true hes a SAINT.
You can't do nothing for months on end
hop on
On a nasty blustery day like its a riding lawnmower turn the key off you go.

I bet any horse right now is a hard sell.
With no lessons going on all competitions
Cancelled and massive unemployment.

Its really a shame when the poor animal
Is blamed for something not his
Fault but its not really a big surprise.

please soon, i spoke to my haidresser during the week, hair hasn't been done since MID MARCH and i have the old english sheepdog look plus trying to figure out what my natural colour is as so long since i saw it.
Funnily enough, I colour mine myself, but couldn't be bothered, and now I'm looking and actually quite like the natural colour. But the style, no no no. I cut a bit round the top and front, but I'm now developing a hillbilly mullet, as I don't dare touch the back. I have to say, the dogs clippers are looking mighty tempting. Please open before I'm reduced to that.

I’ve been embracing my natural colour since it started to change (grey) and I only see a hairdresser twice a year at most, it’s just long and layered, however, it was due for a cut early March and I put off going because of Covid, I got Mr KR to trim the bottom and then just kind of twisted the lengths so the ends of the layers popped out and I snipped them off with my scissors, job done! It really could do with a proper cut though.

All I can say, is in the name of all that's holy OPEN UP THE HAIRDRESSERS! ✂

Tell me about it! My hair isn't long enough to tie back, but soon no amount of product is going to keep it out of my face - much longer and my excuse for breaking social distancing will be I couldn't see! Plus it's hot in this weather. I'm so thankful I had it cut days before restrictions came in, and because I was fed up I had it very short at the back and sides so at least they're still under some semblance of control. Very loose control - think Thelwell in terms of control and looks ?

Headband!!! I have a couple of those ear warmer types - those might be too thick if you're having warm weather (what's that then?!) but headbands in general are becoming the in thing - they serve a dual purpose, covering roots and holding hair away. You know, the Alice band types. Though I have a big head and they nearly always give me a headache. I love a tiara but my wedding one hurt lol

I cant remember the list. Attention span of a knat. I know stay at home if possible was one. To be honest ive heard it that many times i just switched off. Im fed up of it thats why i am taking the piss out the wording now. I just picked up on the shear fact that they need to explain it what stay alert means in an ad.
I am taking it seriously though.

Headbands are comical on me, my hair looks like it's exploding over the top like something out of a cartoon. It's thick and has a strong wave/curl so pretty much does it's own damn thing unless cut very well. I'm currently getting through a lot of hair oil which really tightens the curl and so makes it look shorter, but with the dust at the yard that means I have to wash it every day or it's gross and the look post riding hat is such that if I need to go food shopping I wear a cap and stuff the sides under too. Part of me is longing to take the scissors to it, the other part is screaming no because if I cut the curl in the wrong place it will go even frizzier!
