Brrrr! Chilly but bright, but I was toasty in my new (turquoise!) jacket. We set off, me knowing the machinery would be there by now, and it was. Digger, 2 trucks, and a JCB the size of a house. Also, the biggest herd of ponies we've seen - about 15 of them. Hogan was extremely awake, and we walked faster than we have for a long time, but he held it together. I had to keep reminding myself to keep the reins nice and slack - if I tighten them, he just gets more tense. I really expected to have to get off, especially as we approached the JCB, but sat it out, and he was super. I didn't dare take any pics, so just one of my brave boy, back home.
