a very cautious 'whoooooo'!

as some of you may know, i have been commuting 50odd miles to work and back every day for the past year and a half (horses and i live in brighton, job is in central london), 3 hours (and the rest!) on the train every day and whatnot ... with two ponies on DIY this has not always been easy :sleep:

... i had an interview for a job in brighton on friday and was offered the job yesterday :smug: still waiting for references to clear so only a cautious 'whooo! yay!' for now but ... fingers crossed! it'll be lovely to have a new challenge, 10 mins to walk to work from home, 20 mins to get to yard after work ...

You'll love it! I used to commute nearly an 80 mile round trip daily and now am a mere 20 minute drive. Well done, enjoy your extra bit of time to yourself.

I'm very jealous - I've been commuting a 90mile round trip for the last 3 years and was looking forward to a nice local job when I qualified. I now have a 100 mile round trip commute to look forward too :help::giggle:
