While feeding my lot their tea, I suddenly heard one helluva commotion in one of the stables. I usually put guards across the door when feeding, and leave the actual stable doors open for ease. I also have all my dobermanns (should be Dobermen!) running with me at the same time.
Anyway, there was a lot of banging and snorting coming from Chip's stable. In a panic, I rushed round to see what had happened, and found my 17.3hh horse backed right up in a corner, frightened out of his wits while my smallest Dobie helped herself to all his feed!
What a wimp!
On a cuter note - Wess has started sharing her feed every day with a Robin who sits on the corner of her manger. I'll have to try and get a photo.
P.S. The horses are all WELL used to my DObies.
