Yep hopefully we’ll make it a regular thing, once a month or so.
We ventured out to a park and ride today and met L&L there, he loaded and traveled really well, was very screamy until L&L arrived and was then very chilled about it all.
We had a lovely 2.5 hour ride in a bit of the forest I’ve only ridden a few times, so we were mostly navigating by feel.

We rarely see wide open spaces here but came alongside some big open fields and Monkey couldn’t care less, reassuring for our beach trip next week!

There was a lot going on when we got back, another lorry arriving and unloading, kids (with inflatable hobby horses and on bikes) and dogs, and he took it all in his stride
and he loaded in about 2 minutes, he did have a bit of a screaming, stamping tantrum as we left, but I’m fortunate that my friends trailer that I’m borrowing has a camera so I could keep an eye on him and he did settle after 10/15 minutes.
We’re off to the coast Thursday-Saturday, it will be the furthest I’ve travelled him (it’s only an hour) and I was feeling good about it until his little tantrum this afternoon, it rattled me a bit, I never used to mind fussy travellers, I’d just rather not be towing one alone but I’ve got to keep reminding myself he did settle and L&L will be on the road somewhere behind us too, so if there is any drama, help won’t be far away
