I'm looking at buying the Anky comfort bridle for my pony and also some Amerigo bonded stirrup leathers, has anyone had any experience of using these brands of tack? Did you think they were good quality and long lasting, or not?

I am boycotting (sp?) Anky. She has done so much harm to horses all over the world, I wouldn't want to support her financially - even if it's just 5 bucks off a bridle! ;)

Apparently the Vega saddles by Amerigo are really nice though (they better be at that price), wool flocked and made in Italy.

I agree. No way am I putting money into that woman's pockets. There are other 'comfort' bridles out there that aren't endorsed by people like her.

Anky is a dressage rider who trains her horses through Rolkur, which is basically over bending them dramatically and working like that for short periods to "build up the right muscles" or something. It puts huge stress on their necks and muscles and most people on here disagree with it majorly.

Depends how much you know about the issue though, many people critisize when infact they dont know anything. The trouble is weather you love it or hate it she is the world champion, if you want to beat her you must ethier use her method or find your own better method. And I am not saying weather I am for or agaisnt it but some people on here would know.
