... Are they washable?!

They've lasted for ages, but obviously riding over winter has meant they've become the victim of rather a lot of dirt & mud!

I was thinking of either washing them by hand or popping them in the washing machine - but no idea if this will kill them or not?

Whilst I think about, are the Terrain boots washable too? They could do with a spruce up!

I have never washed my boots, not sure the leather would appreciate it.
