Bamboo??!

the field my lot are in at the mo backs on to the canal and there is bambo shoots all along the edge, and the tb taken a liking to them!
i know he moves the speed of a panda but dont know if it's any good for him.... he didnt touch it when he was in the same field in spring, are horses missing anything in their diets they are trying to find elsewhere? i already had to remove all the ivy. there is plenty of decent grass!

Quite possibly. Wild horses eat what they need as and when they need it, sometimes is even a bit of a poisonous (as we know it) plant to kickstart something in their system.
I wouldnt worry!
We have very varied grazing and the horses seem to pick and choose what they want and go back for something they didnt eat earlier in the year - maybe its ripe in a different month(?)
