recommendations please?

i want a good pair but dont want to pay ridiculous amounts....

what is the best type of adjustment, t-bar or stud?

I've had the T bar and the stud webbers.
I think the T bar ones were Bates webbers, they were much neater but weren't a 'proper' havana colour, they were a bit reddish in colour.
The stud ones were Jefferies I think, they were a beautiful colour, very havana, but I found them hard to adjust correctly without a big loose bit sticking up from my foot  But I am quite cack handed

Both of these were fairly expensive, although the Bates were non stretch, which I like.

I've heard good things about the Wintec webbers (T bar)

I have the Jeffries T bar dressage leathers. I bought them for a treeless saddle, but kept them now I've gone back to treed. They are lovely. They don't stretch due to the nylon core and have no bulk under your thigh. They aren't cheap, about £52, but I would highly recommend them.

thanks guys

ive only ridden with them once and i also was completely cack handed with adjustment, i suppose you get used to the fastening being in the wrong place! :)

Really like the tbar, they can be a fiddle to adjust until you get used to them, but sooo much more comfortable. I had a wintec pair (I think), leather, didn't stretch for the 2 years i owned them.
