Colour-changing beastie!

Just looking back over some photos of The Beast that were taken over this summer. I can't believe how much his colour has changed!

He looks positively golden in some of the pics in August:

But some of the ones recently he's gone really dark with his winter coat! View media item 25179 his nose is also going from bare/pink to snowy white and fuzzy. Sent Mum a photo and she asked who I was holding- she didn't believe it was him because he's changed so much.

It's quite exciting really watching him change. It's another little bit of getting to know him.

It is interesting to see how they change over the year. My horse is jet black, but he almost becomes dark brown in summer as the sun colours his coat. At the moment he is covered in dapples and he looks great, but when he has his next clip he will become almost light grey.

How are things at the yard now? Have you had a better week?

Some of them really change loads, I think it was @joosie who shared pics of some ponies who were totally different colours at different times of year.
Bo was bay but silver/grey when clipped

Ziggy is white all year, but in the summer he looks like a mini Andalusian or Lipizzaner and in the winter he looks like a polar bear!
