Went on a lovely plod with the old girl this morning

Finally, we're off the road



Past a local farm and some big silage bales



Pootling along ....



Past the golf course (Angel like to watch golfers ....)

Past the dogwalker hedge (hate that one! dogwalkers can't see the horses and we can't see the dogs until they come bursting out of the hedge!)



and back out down the road - what's that thing in the bushes?



The building site on the blind bend is finally beginning to wind up ... there ised to be scaffolding and a lot of activity ...

How are you doing with riding on the road? Is there enough space to be safely away from the cars?

no choice unfortunately - we can't access the bridleway unless we up a blind bend. Angel is 100%, Appley 99%. one road through the village is quite narrow and just about fits one car and one horse, but the car would be just a few ft away ... not much fun when it's busy!

I take it you don't have to do this sort of thing in texas

I love the 'up the hill' piccy best of all. Do you know for a few seconds there I was having a very speedy fast canter, in fact no damn it...we galloped!:bounce:

So very jealous - I would lovely a few lovely tracks like that near me.:redface:

Cortrasna, we have been known to gallop up said hill, it is known as the 'Second Yeeha!' on the yard :giggle:

I would be tempted to put up a wooden sign, look right for ponies by that hedge. :biggrin:
