Equi Theme SI rugs?

the design looks good (eg like an SI rug!), but I would hazard a guess that the material won't withstand much in the way of rubbing (eg barbed wire, vigorous scratching on trees etc).

I have no idea but a friend is selling the following if it would be of any use?

*FOR SALE*
Demeulenkamp sweetitch rug - to fit 6'3~6'6. Brown

Very similar to Boett but better quality and features an extra belly strap.
Has adjustable elastic round the neck and elasticated at top of legs. Showerproof, machine washable and can be tumble dried.

Has had a small repair, lightly used.
Well worth the money if your horse is irritated by the flies.

Cost £150------sell £75.00

What a pity HH101 - she is a 6'9" - would have definitely bought it otherwise.

That was my concern Notpoodle - but my fields are completely electric fenced but there is access to a couple of large trees that she might scratch on, although she didnt last year.

Hello, I have that exact rug from that exact website

I use it on my gelding who does not have Si but does have a fly allergy, used it all last summer, was on 24/7 and survived brilliantly, but we also have all electric fences, with no trees in the field, so nothing to scratch on. But is easy to fit and relatively easy to get on (as with all of these, am always amazed how tolerant they are to having these rugs over their heads, especially when I get it on, then realise it is inside out and have to take it off and start again....)

Can highly recommend, plus EC are so quick to deliver.

Thanks so much for that - think I will order one - she has 3 different types but feel the style is covering a bit more of her without so many places for the little blighters to wriggly in and nip her. Can you remember if the sizing is normal or is there anything I should bear in mind as she is normally a 6'9"

Hope it works out, I just ordered my lads normal size, he is a 6'6'' and was grand on him. They are quite stretchy so quite forgiving, but elastic is not so tight round belly panel (no clue if that is official name but you know the bit I mean!) that rubs or anything but does stay put once on.
