Feeding sunflower seeds in oil and pumpkin seeds

Hi!
Does anyone give pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds to their horses? I was going to start giving them daily after reading the major benefits of both in their normal rations. I look forward to the feedback!

Mine get sunflower and pumpkin seeds as part of their Agrobs Muesli mix. They love them, and I notice that Mattie, who is chestnut, is especially shiny when he has seeds to eat. Ziggy is grey so it doesn't show si much.

We used to feed sunflower seeds until a vet told us they could cause colic in sensitive horses

Our Chloe is always trying to get the birds sunflower seeds!lol little madam knows where the bird food is kept and shoves it onto the floor to see if she can get it open! Good job it's plastic! I've never knowingly let her have any but she does hoover any up from the stable base if the birds leave any.

I give my 2 a handfull of black oil sunflower twice a day - not a huge amount and have never had a problem
