There is a new Sports Horse breed from Holland called Arabo Friesians. It has taken 30 years of maticulous knowledge and breeding to get the correct balance of Arab and Friesian to get the best of both types. 9-18% is a good ratio of Arab blood to the Friesian. The Stallions tend to be around 37%.
The temperament is outstanding and they move very correctly, working truly from behind which the pure Friesian struggles with. We have imported 5 youngsters this year to bring on and sell. As the breed is only recently 'released' anyone with an older horse won't part with it! They are ideal for dressage and driving and general use. Once you meet them you are hooked, we are! We are developing a website for them which should be up early August. If you want to contact us for further info then go on to our other web
