hello, haven't posted in a while as too busy enjoying myself!!

so the lovely pony that i have been lucky enough to be riding whilst his mummy is busy working, i had initially found he was quite fast and strong in canter but have been doing little short canters to try and get tuned into each other and finally feel we are getting somewhere.

tonight i thought we would go down to the bottom of the field and canter up to my friend and he knew exactly what we were doing, i mean i literally didn't do anything and he seemed to know. Is this cos we are getting tuned in or would most horses realise that if you walk them down the field and turn to face the camera they are going for a canter in that direction? i was impressed anyway! It was what i wanted and what i got!

and again, this time trying to get under the branches without losing my head!!

he is really sweet although not keen on being fussed and petted but i'm working on that. I have had some great times with him, very grateful to his mummy for letting me enjoy him.

he is pretty! quite girly looking almost.

he has been testing me out the past few rides, napping and refusing to go forward at times but tonight i felt brave with my pal there so wasn't a big issue and managed to ride him through it.

I am getting used to his ways now. He is keen to go, doesn't like to hang around and the minute you take up a contact at all he thinks you mean go:running:! I have discovered he walks better if i sing! You are my sunshine and Make you feel my love are his current favourites, gets me the walk rather than the jog which is his best trick!!!:giggle:

You lucky ***. Gorgeous hacking aswell by the looks of it. Is there ever a time you're not grinning from ear to ear?!

i know! i am like a cheshire cat! He has been such good fun, loved cantering in the field as the forest tracks are a bit stoney.

How you and the flipmeister??

He's good ta - were consolidating for a little while, staying in the safety of the school but going well.
Seriously, I think when we finally meet up I'll recognise you as the one with the coathanger stuck in your mouth.:playfull:

I nearly missed this thread MM!

Dylan is a lovley looking boy

And how brave are you missus. That field in the first vid looks very open and scary to me :giggle:

Love the sound of his hooofies

Well done MM *Pat on the back*
