Not affiliated obviously because I can't compete affiliated on a 13hh pony lol

But with Toffee going so well I plan on getting some lessons to refine him and work on his jumping technique as well as to improve myself and hopefully compete him in some little events. Jumping is clearly what he loves the most so I'm thinking maybe SJ, Showcross, Showjumping and possibly Working Hunter. Could anyone give me some advice for a newbie to shows and what to expect, what to wear etc? I'm absolutely terrified at the thought but desperately want to have a go and have some fun with him.

:)

I took Ramsey to a couple of shows, just to see how he'd be.(Totally unfazed!) You don't need to dress up, and you can do a couple of clear rounds while you're there.

I'd just look up some of the local shows try theridingdiary website or your local Facebook page for horse riders. They often advertise shows for my area. Just go along for a day out to watch.
